We are mother-and-daughter interior design studio based in Berlin. Since 2008 we have been creating resedential and commercial interiors. Over these years we have created more then 200 projects together. In 2020 we moved our studio to Berlin, from where we relise projects in Germany and Europe

  • Layout Options, General Concept
    We begin by exploring multiple layout options for your space to determine the most functional and aesthetically pleasing arrangement. This includes:

    • Space planning and zoning
    • Furniture positioning
    • 2–4 layout alternatives for review and feedback
    • Visual references and zoning ideas (mood boards, sketches) to set the draft for next steps
    • Up to 2 online/offline meetings, unlimited written feedback
    This is the only essential step for every project

  • Measurments
    In case a floorplan is not provided or not detailed enough we visit/revisit the space to take precise measurements to ensure accuracy in all future planning and sourcing. This includes:

    • Measuring walls, windows, doors, ceiling heights
    • Double-checking installation-critical points (e.g., outlets, plumbing)
    Note: these measurements are made for concept planning and can not be used for bespoke furniture order

  • Kitchen/Living Room Concept
    We develop a cohesive concept for the heart of your home. This includes:

    • Mood board and style direction
    • Color palette and material inspiration
    • Suggestions for key furniture and finishes
    • 3d renderings with 1 round of corrections to present our idea in the most comprehensive way

  • Lighting and Power Plan, Kitchen brief
    We create detailed plans from scratch according to your needs and wishes and based on final layout we created in the first step or add essential socket and lighting connections to align our design project with the existing electrical plan. Step includes:

    • Placement of general, accent, and task lighting
    • Technical kitchen layout
    • Brief for kitchen manufacturers

  • Bathroom
    We design a stylish, practical bathroom tailored to your space and needs. This includes:

    • Layout and plumbing fixture placement
    • Tile placement scheme
    • Lighting and mirror placement
    • Shopping list for furniture, equipments and lightings
    • 3d is not essential for this step but could be added upon request

  • Concept and shopping list for each room
    Design developed for each room and curated list of all selected items, ready for purchase. This includes:

    • 2d visuals or 3d renderings on request
    • Furniture, lighting, textiles, decor, finishing materials with 2-5 alternatives for each piece
    • Product links, prices, quantities
    • Dimensions and notes for fit and function
    • In-stock check and delivery times (if available)

  • Purchaising and delivery managment
    We take care of the entire procurement process to ensure everything arrives smoothly and on time. This includes:

    • Coordinating orders with selected suppliers
    • Tracking deliveries and managing timelines
    • Handling any issues such as damages or replacements
    Additionally, when purchasing through our trusted partners, we can offer access to preferential terms and exclusive conditions, ensuring both quality and value without compromising the design vision.

  • Construction documentation
    We prepare a complete set of technical documents that serve as a precise guide for construction teams and craftsmen. This includes:

    • Briefing materials for contractors, ensuring clear communication of the design intent on-site
    • Detailed working drawings covering all custom elements, finishes, and installations
    • Bespoke furniture drawings for tailor-made items such as built-in wardrobes, shelving, or kitchen units
    • Technical and detail drawings: floor plans, wall elevations, ceiling layouts, and sections with specifications for materials, joinery, and fittings
    • Lighting and electrical plans to coordinate seamlessly with construction and ensure accurate implementation
    This documentation is essential to translate the design into reality with accuracy and efficiency, minimizing questions during execution.

  • Project Supervision
    We ensure your project is implemented according to plan with oversight during installation. This includes:

    • On site visits during key stages or online control
    • Communication with contractors and craftsmen
    • Ensuring correct placement of furniture, lighting, etc.
    • Resolving unexpected design or execution issues

Apartment in Berlin #4
This project was created for a gorgeous blogger and fashion stylist from Berlin Anna https://www.instagram.com/iamannaporter. Since she is very advanced in aesthetics and design, working for her was more like working with her, collaborating and guiding her where she needs it. We swapped a master bedroom and a kid room in order to use the space more wisely, developed a design idea that Anna came up with and worked on the decor and storage of the apartment.

Apartment in Hamburg #1
One of the studios of bespoke furniture in Berlin “Kachanow Interior” came to us with a request from of their client: a well organised and functional storage. She needed a more effective way to store her beautiful clothes, shoes but also documents and other stuff. We offered an open storage for clothes and a beautiful mix of closed and open shelves for the living room. We also helped with the general design of a bedroom and a living room/hallway.


Apartment in Berlin #2
Our client wanted a colourful and funky but functional interior. One of the biggest challenges was to change the layout of the kitchen without demolishing it and integrate a laundry zone in the kitchen. We offered an open walk-in wardrobe in the bedroom, wallpaper in the bathroom, functional storage in the hallway and several semi-transparent dividers to zone the rooms in the apartment. The most time consuming part was to remove a flooring in the kitchen and to cover the floor the same parquet laying in the living room. Contractors had to put the parquet piece by piece, but it was worth the effort. Big thanks to our talented contractors!

Classy but budget friendly living room for a young couple with a toddler and a doggo. We used Ikea Metod fronts as wall panels to connet a kitchen islant with the kitchen.

We worked on design development for the whole apartment. After several rounds of searching and discussing together with our client we managed to find a perfect solution that everybody loved.

Here we decided to use the biggest room of the apartment not as a master bedroom but as a home office / wardrobe / guests room. We wanted to separate sleep and storage and make both zones aesthetic and functional.

This project is still in progress but we wanted to share a Layout transformation of the space that we offered our clients. That is how much one can achieve working with profis.

Renovation of an Altbau is always challenging, but we love working on them. Our clients didn't want to invest in the changing of Layout of the apartment, so we worked with existing composition. We divided the apartment into children's and adult zones, the kitchen in the middle as the centre of life. We offered a variation of traditional Berlin flooring instead of relatively fresh laminat and invested all our efforts in the kitchen planning, so that even the space is quite small and has irregular shape in floor plan, it is still effective comfortable and beautiful

A beautiful 1Zi apartment with a close to perfect layout for a beautiful woman in the centre of Berlin. We actually could not wish for more. We got the apartment with a kitchen and a strong wish of our client to integrate a fireplace in the living room.

Rental kitchen upgrade
New storage spaces and functional countertop for a tea station with help of Metod serie from IKEA.
Living room + Home Office for two
Here our goal was to create a space equally fit for a living room and home office. To add more challenge we needed to use a niche in the living room as storage for outdoor clothes because there were not enough storage opportunities in the hallway. Dividers were produced by our partners Kachanow Interiors.

Work with existing wood panels
When we first saw a request from the clients we were very excited about this historical layout and probably not very recent wooden furnishings. It was very important for us here not to spoil existing interior and to pay the space our respects by being gentle in our design ambitions


Remote Kitchen Planning
For this apartment in Münich we developed a project with Layout options, 3d visualisations and Kitchen planning variations. Our clients worked with a kitchen producer of their choice and managed implementation of the kitchen by themselves only with some support from us. We are very proud of their and our hard work!

Small change with a big impact for the living room

Storage Solutions and Hallway Separation
Our clients wanted to find a space for outdoor clothes but to keep the space open and airy. We offered a separation of the hallway by a multifunctional wall.
Separating children into different rooms in 2-bedrooms rental apartment
Our clients wanted to separate children in two different rooms, but that seemed to be impossible: an apartment seem to be small and big renovation was not possible. We love tasks like this!
